Class Procedures           Behavior Expectations & Procedures           English II

  1. Arrive to class on time with the correct pen, paper, books, and notebook.  A late unexcused arrival to class equals jumping jacks and detention after school with me plus referral to the office after the third tardy.  If staying after school is not an option for you, do not be late.

  1. Drinks and food are allowed as long as they do not become a problem.  You will not be excused from class to go to the drink machine (or to use the restroom and make a detour) therefore if you want a drink, think ahead.  If drinks do become a problem they will no longer be allowed.  Remember to clean up after yourself!

  1. School attendance is crucial!  If you do have to be absent, you may discuss and make up work with me after school.  You will only be allowed to miss 9 days the entire semester!  I will not discuss make up work during class time.  AGAIN, I WILL NOT DISCUSS MAKE UP WORK DURING CLASS TIME!!!

  1. Detentions and make up work will be scheduled at your earliest convenience.  If you do not show up the following will result:  detention no show - referral to office; make up work -  no show – ZERO given as grade.

  1. No heads down on your desk at any time, no sleeping with heads up or down.  If you are sick, let me know.  If you sleep then you miss the assignment and cannot make it up.

  1. Whenever guests are present, you are quiet.

  1. Do not use my class time for any assignments other than English related work.

  1. Packing up prior to the bell ringing or without teacher permission will not be allowed.  In addition when the bell rings, I will dismiss you, not the bell.

  1. Autobiography chapters will not be typed or printed in this room!  Please make arrangements to have your autobiography section printed PRIOR to the due date.  You will be given time in class to work on your autobiography!

  1. Keep combs, mirrors, perfume and lotion out of this room.

  1. Please do not touch my stuff or anything in the classroom!!!

Please see me for extra help when you feel that it is necessary.  I will be available after school to assist you with anything that you might need.
