Needed Materials: Textbook, pencil, loose-leaf paper, one-subject notebook, index cards

Classroom Policy: Each student must follow classroom rules for academic success. Any rules that are broken will count against the student in the participation grade; be followed with a consequence (upon the decision of the teacher(s); and a possible administrative referral (write-up).

Class Participation: Classroom participation is very important and is included in the student’s grade. Class participation includes: answering questions (orally), engaging in discussions (course related), hands-on manipulative (course related craft), etc….

Missed Exams/Tests or Assignments: It is the responsibility of the student to notify the teacher for making up exams/tests or assignment(s). You will have 1 week allowance time.

Grading:         Class work 25%         

                        Homework 25%

                        Class Participation (behavior included) 25%

                        Quizzes/Tests 25%

Tutoring: M- F (3:35-4:15) You must give a 24 hr notice before attending tutoring sessions.
